Acetal

The acetal resins are among the strongest and stiffest of all thermoplastics, and are characterized by good fatigue life, low moisture sensitivity, high resistance to solvents and chemicals, and good electrical properties.

Acetal resins are polymerized as homopolymer and copolymer. Each have characteristics that pose advantages depending on the requirements of the application. Acetal homopolymer achieves elevated mechanical properties, while acetal copolymer exhibits easier processing and cost related advantages.
